krishna dwadasha slokha
प्रथम् तु हरिम्

naham kartha hari kartha
प्रथम् तु हरिम्
I was totally ignorant about the significance of Sri Hari Nama. Generally, it is a norm when we face any challenging situations or any disease attacks us we pray to the Almighty to overcome the situation or illness. We prefer to live without any disease, any illness, and wish to enjoy life. We wish all our desires to be fulfilled within a second. So what we do – “Pray Pray Pray “
But life is not a bed of roses. we face many challenging situations with a lot of ups and downs. We do not want to suffer. We think this life alone is permanent and eternal. So how to overcome this illness, poverty, and challenging situations.
You all know the story of how River Ganga came from heaven who can wipe our sins when we take bath in the river or just chanting the name of River Ganga. When Lord as Vamana asked 3 feet of land as dhana from the king Bali Chakravarthy. The king accepted to give the small boy Vamana as dhana to him. When he measured the first feet for Bhu lokha he grew up gigantically and was called Lord Trivikrama and the second feet for pathala lokha and asked king Bali for the 3 feet of land. When HIS divine feet just touched the sky, River Ganges emerged out. If the mere touch of HIS feet [River Ganga] can take away our sins then think of the power of chanting Lord Hari Nama.
This is the significance of hari nama. There are many such incidents in our literature Ramayana and Mahabharatha. The above one is small example.
Thankyou for reading the blog.

If a person can leave all the desires and wishes of this body and do upasana about our almighty Sri Narayana. This is a big bhagavatam dharma. Why do we call it as Bhagavad dharma?
When we follow bhagavada dharma a person will find peace with no worries. If a person closes his eyes or open his eyes or run or walk he would not fall or fail since he follows bhagavada marga [way]. The gnani’s [wise person or intellectuals] speak with confidence and trust about bhagavada dharma. They have determined faith and reliability towards bhagavada dharma. They have followed and seen the implications of it. He has got advised by bhagavantha himself. Sri mathmadwacharya was so confident because he was educated by Rishaba namaka paramatma himself. You would not fail or fall because the bhagavada dharma is a true knowledge of tatva gnana. Analyze it, again and again, ask questions get the answers with proof, and logically think then follow it. We do not know many things but start to follow it because this dharma was followed by many of our learned saints. Try to follow whatever you were able to understand. After gaining full knowledge and following the bhagavada dharma means our lifetime would have passed.
The child gets vaccinated to be free from polio. The parents do not ask permission to the child. The child do not question why it is getting vaccinated. Due to the welfare of the child, he/she gets injected with the approval of parents. What if parents think that they are broadminded and do not ask the child to do forcibly. Let us give time after the child grows, then the child is able to understand and analyze what is good or bad for them. Then convince them for polio vaccination. But at that time, the time would have passed. Sometimes it is a must for the parents to analyze and follow good aspects for the sake of the welfare of the child. The child has to oblige what parents say and follow them.
Sometimes it must be “Unmeliya nethre or must be “Nimiliyava nethre” [as in sanskrit] meaning do not wait for the time to ripe because at that time it would have passed. So, follow what the elders are doing and the correct time will come to know about the true knowledge.
There are a lot of vrathas, (fasting) poojas lot of rituals to follow good conduct. Sometimes we can understand it or sometimes not able to understand. It is not correct only after knowing everything about the thatva gnana let me follow it. Time would have gone. So as said by elders or gnanis follow it which will yield you success. Certainly, you will succeed. There will be no loss or failure. You can follow it by closing your eyes. Do not come to the conclusion that everything must be followed only after getting full knowledge. Do not be adamant because the lifetime would be over.
When someone scolds us we get scared. When a learned person like tippani scholars came out then the person who has no knowledge or little knowledge gets fear. If someone motivates us by saying what you do is correct then there is no chintana. But if they scold us then it will be scary to see them.
But sri hari has no worries even if anyone scolds HIM. He is enjoying. Because he himself stands as antaryami (indweller) makes him to scold. His antaryami ( God present within him) prerane makes him to scold. So he is out of worries. He enjoys. Even this is known to learned pandits.
Once Buddha was sitting. A person started to scold. Buddha being sarvagna. Vishnu’s rupa is Buddha.[ But to make unlearned persons do kama interested in material life he had taken buddha avatara. ] His disciple asked Buddha, “why are you getting scolding from him. Don’t sit patiently and calmly. we are worried but you are at peace. Buddha asked the disciple to bring water and sat for meditation. The disciple said, “Guru, I have brought water for you”. But Buddha sat quietly. He asked for 3 to 4 times. Since it was hot afternoon the disciple felt thirsty so he drank the water. After some time Buddha asked, Where is the water”? The disciple said I asked you since you remained silent. So, I drank water.
Buddha told me here is the answer to your question. Since I didn’t drink the water you have taken it. Similarly, when someone scolds me I do not take it and it goes to them only.
“chintha santhapa lobothbava prathi mukaraathdoshadhidhooram”.
Once there was a big rush. There was a mirror and whoever stands before the mirror their beloved one’s face can be seen. when sri Krishna stand before the mirror everyone was thinking either arjuna’s face, subathra’s face can be seen. But the face shown was sakuni. Why sakuni’s face. Because he made all people into one packet. so he was able to kill Nirmoola. The main reason is Bhoo bara harana. i.e destroying the wicked people.
“uth” when we do anusandana as uthadevarige upasana meditate – when we meditate uth we get success.
When we do anusandhana sri Krishna as veera He finishes the work entirely till the end. So, he is Veera. He told Ashwatthama – amsha of Rudra that he will protect Pandavas. So he is Satya Sankalpa and protected the Pandavas till the end. He protected utthara devi in her womb. No one has the capacity to protect a child in the womb. Only Sri Krishna can do it. He has the power to protect. We start a small task and get tired easily. We feel like when will it be over. But Sri Krishna does it without any tiredness. Humans have limitations. Hunger cannot be controlled. It controls us. Same with the thirst also. These are our limitations. We have grief, running behind the materialistic objects are our characters. Nothing is controlling sri hari. He has no tiredness, thirst, hungry, etc., He had created the universe and maintaining it from anadhi kala. so he is “Antara”. He is Doshadoora, He is Gunaparipoorna. His mahima (power) should always be in our mind, heart. so “uth” let this work get success.
When a person is talented or skilled we have to appreciate their talent with compassion and kindness. All the traits[gunas] are provided by Srihari to human beings. If we appreciate a person’s guna’s or traits Srikrishna gets pleased.
There was an engineer who used to build houses with the utmost creativity. He put all his efforts and skills to build houses. His interior decoration will be perfect. If we praise that engineer’s talent certainly he will build our house also with perfection. But if we criticize his talent and ask him to build a house for us. Will he help us to construct a new house? The answer will be definitely “No”. It is a literal truth.
Similarly, each person has different gunas. One will be kind and compassionate, another will be talented, another will be sincere on his duty, one likes to do service or helpful to others, one will be a hard worker. one will have pleasing guna to invite others with a smile. ” Smitha purva bashi” This is one guna of Sri Ramachandra. Sri Ramachandra always has a pleasing tone with a smile on his face. He was very kind and compassionate to all his people while ruling Ayodhya. When he smiles the people think as if their worries and sorrows have wiped off.
Paramathma’s smile vanishes all our sorrows. Since he is poorna ananda Maya. This is an excellent guna. Also, each person has one guna given by sri Krishna. So swami says we must not criticize or underestimate others. It is like criticizing sri krishna only. If someone donates liberally, we must not criticize them ” is he a big landlord”? It is like scolding the engineer only. Though you gossip at home and the person does not hear it. But Sri Narayana knows it. Here he is the engineer. But he has no grief or attached to it. But it will make us nirguna[ Rajo and tamasa]. If we praise him, he will bless us with good gunas or traits.

Welcome to my page shree.tipsgurus.com. I am very much delighted to create this blog, as this was my passion. Dasaru says human birth is very rare as we have to come across many births as species, plants, and animals.
This reminds me of the popular song
” Esu kayangala kaledu enbathu nallaku laksha Jeeva rasiyanu dati bandhe esareera” .
So human birth is very precious and that too Vaishnava janma[ birth] is very precious because by divine thinking 24/7 about Sri Narayana’s glories we can swim this ocean of samsara and attain eternal [ true] happiness.
Benefits of Samarpana
The below-written content is from our Guru Sri Satyatma gurgalu’s discourse in kannada and I have translated in english for the benefit of non-kannadigas. Please pardon me if there are any mistakes in my translation.
To do punya (good deeds) it requires a lot of days and time. To get rid of punya one second is enough. To get Sampath (richness) we require a lot of years. We have to do a lot of hard work and make wealth. After making a lot of wealth if we keep the doors open while going to tour-” what will happen”? Someone will steal all the wealth which is accumulated for all these years. One second is enough to get rid of wealth. Similarly to get Punya we require a lot of effort, time and requires bhakti, devotion.
In the end, we have to think ” Naham Kartha Hari hi Kartha“.
“Everything is done by Sri Hari only and not by me”. This anusandana is very much important in all our sathkaryas [ Good deeds].
He is making us do all the kartha [work] and we are just a tool. With bhakti, we have to do this samarpana. To take our punyas, there are asuras, rakshasas who can take it. But still, humans do not have the capacity to take away punya. We can think we have done a lot of punya and enjoy it in the next birth or in heaven. Asuras have the capacity to steal our punya but we offer to sri krishna by saying “krishnarpanam” and you are the doer and not me with this humble thinking our punya is preserved.
If you keep money in the bank we think it’s safe and we can take it whenever we are in need. But, If you go to the same bank in the next janma (next birth) and ask for money. The watchman will beat you. In the “Narayana bank” our punya is safe. Just a prayer is enough. Just fold your hands and pray to HIM. Its pure secret. If we do prayers he takes care of us like a father who takes care of his son. He will protect you whenever necessary when there is a need he will give his protection.
If you are eating one handful of rice means the punya which is done and the prayers are the proof. This is proved in sashtra also. You need not ask each and everything to Srihari like I need to eat, sleep, breathe etc., for each second, we need punya and he is protecting us.
Here a good example of doing samarpana to Srihari. A child writes an exam to get success and needs to get promoted. Then he can go to the next class. The child writes the exam for nearly 3 hours with correct answers. After some time when the exam results come, the child did not get his results. His father complains to school authorities for not getting the result. They search his paper but his papers were not with them. The child says, ” I did not submit my paper to them. I am having it with me”. He did not get the result as he has not submitted the papers. Similarly, if we do pooja or prayers or any good deed we have to submit our karya – good deed to him. Then only we get punya. So it is very much mandatory to do samarpane to sri hari.

My humble Pranams to Sri Hari Vayu Gurugalu and Anantha Koti Namaskara to my Bimba Murthy Sri Krishna.
I am an ardent devotee of Sri Raghotama Swami theertharu, at Tirukoilur near Chennai in TamilNadu. I have been attending Sri Raghothama theertharu’s Aradhana from my childhood days. My dad used to sing devotional songs which made me develop immense devotion. My mom always listened to Sri Sathyapramoda guru’s speech and forced me to listen. since we are Vaishnava Desistha, we talk Marathi at home. My mom used to translate the discourses meaning. Thanks and my humble Pranams to my parents. By, Sri Krishna’s grace and my sister too helped me to understand Kannada. Now by the blessings of Sri Sathyathma Guru and Sri Hari Vayu Gurgalu, I am translating Sri Sathyatma theertharu’s discourses which are in Kannada to English. I hope many people who cannot understand Kannada can be benefitted. This is a small effort and small sadhana to Sri Hari Seva (Service). If there are any mistakes please forgive and rectify by sending Email to me.
With the blessings of Sri Krishna’s grace, I have translated Sri Sathyatma gurgle’s Amruthaupadesha from Kannada to English. Hope this will help to understand non-kannadigas. This is purely based on my understanding.
